Beer Cheese Dip Recipe
My mom started making this dip and it was an instant hit. This beer cheese dip is the perfect thing for a crisp pretzel. I’ve begun to make this dip for every party/gathering we host and am now requested to bring it when friends are having parties. It’s now a staple.
Mike LOVES this beer cheese dip, which means I make it a lot! And now, I’m sharing the quick and easy recipe so you can make it for yourself. You’re welcome!
Ingredients for Beer Cheese Dip
- 2-eight ounce blocks of cream cheese (softened)
- 1-eight ounce bag of shredded cheddar cheese (or 2 cups of freshly shredded cheddar)
- 1 packet of ranch seasoning
- 1 can of any light beer (Bud Light in this case)
- bag of your favorite pretzels
Directions for Beer Cheese Dip
Start with softened cream cheese. If you hadn’t had a chance to let the cream cheese blocks sit out to soften, you can remove the packaging and then microwave them for 20-30 seconds, making sure not to melt it. Once softened, add the cream cheese to your food processor.
Add the bag of shredded cheese and the ranch packet. Place the lid on the food processor and start it on mix.
Pour about 1/2 of the can of light beer through the top of the processor and allow it to blend for about a minute.
Stop the food processor and remove the lid. Scrape the sides of it with a spatula to fold any ranch powder or cheese into the mixture.
Place the lid back on and mix for another minute.
Serving Beer Cheese Dip
Put the blended beer cheese dip in a bowl and then refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.
Serve with whatever pretzels you’d like, but in my opinion, the thin ones work better than the thicker ones.
Finally, enjoy! If you try out this recipe, be sure to let me know how you like it by leaving a comment.
